How these articles are writtenWhere the content comes from, how we update and correct it, and the things we never do

Why should you trust a site that talks about your money? We cannot make you believe us out of thin air, but we can lay out, honestly, where the content comes from and how it is kept current, and let you judge for yourself.

How the content is made

Every article comes from two parts: the public rules published by platforms and institutions (fee tables, product pages, official notices), and our own write-up after actually walking through the process those rules describe. We try to explain things in language an ordinary person can follow, rather than copying over jargon. Anywhere a specific number is involved (a fee, a percentage, a limit), we always note that it goes “by what the platform's own page shows at the time,” and we point to a source you can check for yourself.

How we update and correct

Fees and rules change, so the content needs maintenance. We update when something genuinely changes; we do not just edit the date to look active. Every substantive update also refreshes the “last updated” time shown on the page. If you find an error or spot a rule that has gone out of date, please email us at [email protected], and we will correct it once verified.

Author and independence

Content on this site is written by a named author (see about the author), Qiao Dai, and every piece gets a self-review before it goes out: are the facts accurate, is the risk spelled out, is anything overstated or misleading. We run this site independently and take direction from no platform; even where a platform has a referral relationship with us, that does not buy its shortcomings any silence (the referral relationship is set out in the referral disclosure).

The things we never do

Update note: 2026-06-20. This page is revised as the editorial process changes. For related material, see the referral disclosure, the privacy notice and the risk disclaimer.
